PTC-1012 Spider Assembly (OEM: KOMATSU 562-20-11100 / 985-UJ-03016) is a heavy-duty universal joint cross assembly employed in the Komatsu machinery drives, intended to be used in dump trucks and in haul trucks. This is the SPIDER ASSY - FRONT installed on the front driveshaft / propeller shaft assembly and is used to apply engine torque through the front axle universal joint. It can be used with Komatsu HD785-2 / BH85 dump trucks .
The PTC-1012 spider assembly is manufactured using high-quality alloy steel forgings, which provide excellent fatigue strength and impact strength with harsh mining and earthmoving duty cycles. The trunnion journals are ground to be hardened to resist continuous loading of high torque in heavy off-highway duties. Every unit is dimensionally matched to OEM requirements, is drop-in compatibly fitted without modification of equipment necessary, and a complete quality inspection report is on request.
