PTC-1010 Spider Assembly (OEM: KOMATSU 421-20-32621 / 569-20-79110) is a heavy-duty universal joint cross assembly in Komatsu machinery drive line, made to fit dump trucks and haul trucks. This spider assembly, which is attached to the front driveshaft / propeller shaft assembly, and which transmits engine torque through the front axle universal joint. It can be used with Komatsu HD465-7 dump trucks. The spider assembly of the PTC-1010 is made of high grade alloy steel forgings to give it high fatigue strength and impact resistance to meet tough mining and earthmoving duty cycles.
The trunnion journals are hardened and ground to endure constant high torque loading in high-duty off-highway service. Every unit is dimensionally identical to OEM requirements, and thus it is a direct drop-in fitment, needing no equipment adjustment, and a complete quality inspection report is also available on request. PTC spider assemblies are supported with regular quality inspections at each production phase, which is why they are a safe solution to both fleet operators and maintenance teams
